ZERO GRAVITY is the Sideros brand dedicated to pneumatic sheet metal manipulators, developed to empower the operator and simplify handling processes. Our solutions combine mechanical robustness, ease of use, and operational precision to offer a more efficient, natural, and reliable work experience.

COUNTERWEIGHT
Used to balance the weight of the arm and the lifted load, reducing the strain on the pneumatic system.

The main challenge in sheet metal bending is not just lifting the weight, but following the movement of the piece during the bending cycle. The Press Brake model is the only one designed for perfect “tracking”.
Freedom of movement: Thanks to its 7 rotation axes, the manipulator accompanies the sheet metal in its deformation arc, eliminating the risk of “counter-bends”, inaccuracies, and sheet metal flexing due to manual support.

Gripping Heads WITH SUCTION CUPS or Magnets

Zero Gravity can be equipped with different types of sheet metal gripping heads; gripping heads with vacuum technology are solutions designed to maneuver sheets with continuous surfaces and to ensure maximum delicacy on materials. Conversely, gripping heads with magnetic technology are solutions designed to maneuver ferromagnetic materials, perforated or discontinuous surfaces.
Specifically, Zero Gravity can be equipped with:

single or double suction cup/ magnet systems for handling small pieces in restricted areas.
Fixed H-frame:
structure with 2/4 fixed suction cups/magnets and 4/8 on arms extendable from the central body, adjustable on them, suitable for larger gripping surfaces.
in-line with telescopic arms:
configuration with 2/4 fixed suction cups/magnets and 2/4 on arms extendable from the central body, ideal for narrow and long surfaces.
Adjustable arms:
central crossbar with rotating arms for a precise and customizable arrangement of the suction cups/magnets, adjustable in depth on the arms, suitable for discontinuous surfaces.
